DESCRIPTION:Come celebrate a year of preservation and programs with the Athens Historical Society!\nWe will provide snacks and beverages\, and have a little fun just as the holiday season starts to swing into action.\nWe’ll even have some great Athens-themed stocking stuffers and gifts to make your shopping easier!\nMost importantly\, we will be announcing the next recipient of our Augustus Longstreet Hull Award\, who will be honored at our Annual Meeting on January 15th\, 2017.\nWe are all truly excited\, for the contributions and hard work of this honoree has made so much Athens and Georgia history accessible\, usable\, and understandable.\nWe hope to see you there for a lovely evening of friendship\, history\, and a very positive start to the New Year!\nParking is available behind the Cobb House and along the streets in neighboring Cobbham.
